Macmulkin, Ciocca (formerly kerbeck), Hendrick in Duluth Georgia to name a few big ones. You can ask around at small/local dealers near you but YMMV and some folks have been promised MSRP only to be told 'we're adding market adjustment and/or dealer accessory crap at ridiculous prices' once the car arrives. Best bet is one of the bigger forum dealers to guarantee MSRP but you're looking at 10-12 month wait most likely, possibly longer.

I have a deposit at a local dealer here, was 15th on their list beginning of may when I placed the deposit. They told me I am now number 12 and they are expecting between 2 and 4 per month so it could be as little as 3 months or as high as six months for my allocation. They're promising MSRP but I'm not taking any chances and have a deposit with Macmulkin. Once the lists were merged after 2021s that didn't make the cutoff were moved over, I went to somewhere around #700. If they get 100 per month on average I'm 7 months till allocation absolute max. Factoring in dropouts and potential for higher allocation months, figuring likely 4 or 5 months till my allocation with them.

So my money is on my Macmulkin deposit for now. If my local dealer somehow has a deposit at the 3-month mark I'll let them order the car and see if they try to pull any shenanigans when it arrives and just defer my deposit with MM until then as a backup plan if they do try to pull anything shady on me.

Exactly. That's why most advise to stick with the big forum dealers that have established track record for honoring MSRP agreements. Some folks have gotten lucky (I think one guy even found a local dealer with an allocation not spoken for and got his car in like 3 or 4 months from deposit), but by and large the safest, if potentially slightly longer, route is to go with the bigger well-respected dealers.

Macmulkin's waitlist as of some of the most recent deposits placed by forum members is somewhere in the upper 1100s or low 1200s.

Yes for sure you can get one at MSRP. Plan on 6-12+ months depending on where you order and depending on further plant shutdowns due to supply issues.

Criswell is another big dealer that will give you MSRP no problem. Lots of allocations but since everyone knows that, a long waiting list as well. My guess would be 12 months from deposit now to delivery, again barring any further shut downs.

I sold my c7 and placed a deposit on a c8 last week. Ordered it through the same dealership and salesman from whom I bought the c7 and they assured me that I'll pay MSRP.

A mark up at the front end of the deal is one thing, but I'd be really pissed if they gave me a 10-30k surprise at delivery.

It has happened to several guys on here. They were told MSRP up front and when they go to sign paperwork, the owner or sales manager comes in and says it is 30k more or they can go elsewhere. Just make sure you get your price in writing if you aren't familiar with the dealer. Best of luck!!

There are a number of dealers that will sell you a car at MSRP - they are promoted on the forum all the time. Just be sure you get everything in writing when you place your order.

No One is robbing you blind! It's supply and demand. Ciocca (formerly Kerbeck) is the largest Vette dealer normally selling 1500 Vetes/year and the other large dealers are selling at MSRP and have zero cars in inventory. They are taking orders and you'll wait on their list. Just be sure whoever it is you buy from has a signed contract as to the price when it's delivered! Those that have cars in stock (perhaps someone who ordered and when It comes it doesn't want it etc.) are selling at whatever the market will pay.

Can't blame them, if they sold at MSRP someone would buy it and turn around and sell it at what the market will bear! Why not them?

Try Matt at VanBortel Chevrolet (a forum dealer). They are one of the biggest in the Northeast and trying to get bigger.

Strike that... just checked their web page.

The good news: selling at MSRP
The bad news: because of high demand, taking deposits only from NY state customers or previous VanBortel customers

Right now, until the market cools (no time soon), I would definitely go with the forum dealers already mentioned. They have reputations for honesty and transparency that are unequalled and will not rip you off...
