Are you guys considering adding grill on the side intake?
I'm buying the extended splash guards so I'm thinking it's not necessary, but am taking advice if you guys recommend.
Also, let's not make this post regarding the front grill guards; there's hundreds of posts and THEY ARE A MUST HAVE.
One of the few mods my wife wanted on her car. When looking in the side vents they don’t look finished from factory. In our case it was done for a better look.
I have 8700 miles on mine and do not have one indent on the right side radiator. Now, I did install screens in the front after around 600 miles as I was starting to get "rad-rash" on those.
A side note....... I did black-out inside my vent openings to get rid of the unsightly body color areas and fasteners...

Installed my Paragons a couple of weeks ago after I shop vac’d a bunch on leaves out of the drivers side inlet. Passenger side had some twigs and small rock (pebbles).
Could have sucked up a Civic as well….

This is something I’ve wanted to do to mine for awhile now. How did you paint them black?

I also installed the paragon performance side grills and I have to say I was a little disappointed considering the cost:
Big gap at the top will probably allow debris to collect behind the screen.
There was a lot of trial and error to make sure the screen would not detach itself from the double sided tape over time. Stronger tape also helps.
To remove the grill requires detaching the screen from the double sided tape.
The good things are:
It looks like it will do the job of protecting the radiator
It is easier to install than the side grill from radiatorgrillstore

hey! You are waisting your money on those extended splash guards! Make your own and it will cover your entire width of your tires! I did this for full protection from the sticky tires( if you order a ZO6) throwing any gravel, rocks etc. I did all 4 tires for $40 and they are better than any quick snap on **** you can buy!! I have done both of my C8’s with those summer 4S tires for $40 a car! If you are a diy person you can do it!!
