I would suggest speaking to your salesman first about your place in line before trying to talk to Kevin.

February 2020. But I was contacted in April and asked if I was ready to build. I passed because I was waiting for news on the E-Ray. I then put a deposit down on the E-Ray wait list. Since they announced the Z06 and have been silent on the E-Ray, I decided to pull the trigger. Figure I will keep the Stingray for a couple years and then sell when the E-Ray comes out.

I have been on the Les Stanford list since August last year. I was number 11 and would have been in the June allocation group until GM cancelled it. I contacted my salesman, Bill Allen, and I am at around 100 on the the 2022 list. It seems like some people higher than I on the 2021 list deferred their order to a 2022 and bumped me. Bill has been responsive but the estimated delivery date was optimistic.

Well I made my deposit in February 2020 and was told I would make the first allocation but then told I did not - they only received 13 allocations. Now told I am number 84. Not sure how I could be #84 and you are @100 when I made my deposit 6 months before you??? I did defer my invite in April because I was waiting on news about the E-Ray, but that should not have changed my spot.

Ugh... I am #368, doesn't look like I will get a 2022 from them! Got on their list this last February...
Midenginecorvette forum had a thread talking about 2022 production going until end of June, not looking good for me from them... maybe I will wait for that E-Ray!

Actually I think I am at #111 but I could be off a couple as I didn't write it down. It is hard to keep up as there is no current published list of the wait queue.

I posted on this subject awhile ago but have not heard from anyone who was moved up the list ahead of me. In hindsight, it regret not leaving deposits with multiple dealers and placing my order with the one with the earliest allocation. I was ok with their communication but the many production delays had me second guessing my decision to wait for my C8.

When were you able to place your order? And have it accepted?

Order accepted! My salesman told me yesterday that my order would in fact be placed. Checked this morning with GM and it was accepted -event status 2000. Hoping for an October delivery.

I hope you receive delivery as expected but from my experience and info off YouTube nothing is firm until you are at 3000 status. Good luck, it will be worth the wait!
