Default Is this normal?

If I am driving in MY Mode and than select Z Mode for a while after I turn off Z mode it does not return to My Mode. I have to select it manually. Is this normal?

A small peev. My guess is they want to show their eco-friendliness by not having the car default to modes where V4 mode and AFM are always OFF.

Would be great if some one invents a hack or module to solve this. Until then one turn counter clockwise.

There is a fix to this.....

Never take the car out of Z Mode!!! Just way too much fun. :-) More smiles per mile.

Yep! However have leaned it's easy way to get it back to MY MODE as I drive only in those two modes. No need to play Russian Roulette with the mode ****! Takes one quick turn CCW, no need to look it's there! Keep my eyes out front, and all mirrors for distracted drivers to keep my 60 year record of not having had an accident with another car! Love HUD no need to look at the dash

That's right. If you are in Z mode (but not in one of the PTM traction modes), you can turn the mode selector left (CCW) and it goes into My Mode. Turn right (CW) and it goes back into Sport. Or press Z button and it returns to Touring.

But if you're in one of the PTM modes while in Z, you can't use the mode selector, as that changes the PTM mode! But I guess we shouldn't be changing modes all that frequently anyway.
