Dream616,
Forgeline DR1s, fully forged stock size with a little more offset, 28# lighter than the OEM "forged" wheels. $$$$. Forum vendor Wheels for Less.
Thanks for the info on them. They look really nice but you had just a slight typo in your post ... they're $$$$$$$$$$ instead of $$$$.
We just got our AO at the ncm and we are blown away by this car. When we ordered the dealer didn't want to place it because of our combination of AO and red dipped! So we put a larger deposit and 3 months to the day we are driving it! I really love this color combination and everyone that sees it seems to be as impressed as well. Not for everyone I know but perfect for us. We drove it home 600 or so miles from ncm with a novistrech and track Armour on the front clip. Looking forward to driving and sharing the joy of the c8 with many! So for everyone wondering what this looks like here are pics of AO red dipped z51 with bright red calipers!
Very nice combinaison of colour 👍, I would have never expected this final result. Matching color C8 and sneakers. The opinion of the dealer was not asked and was not his problem as its your private decision.

Well, if the buyer backs out of the deal after the car is ordered, the dealer is stuck with the car and has to sell it. So, if the dealer thinks the colors chosen for the interior and exterior clash, he has every right to protect his interests.
For example, I am a big fan of Amplify Orange. But, I would never buy an Amplify Orange C8 with that red interior. I don't blame the dealer for having concerns. Heck, to get either of the Adrenaline Red interior option with Amplify Orange you have to pay for the "Color Combination Override" option. This means even GM thinks the color combination is not right.
So no, it is not a private decision. The dealer asked for a larger deposit to cover them in case they would have to discount the car to sell it.

You are absolutely right, I agree on the dealer covering there @$$ on a car this bold. I bought a racing yellow 3lt z51 m7 17c7 from them that didn't sell for nearly a year from when they got it new. So they had sat on a bold build b4. That said I wanted this build for us and we were willing to put whatever down anyhow as we knew we weren't backing out and were doing ncm delivery to boot. I'd say i was more surprised at how low there deposits were. I wasn't turned off by it more amusing than anything, we actually have a pretty good relation at this dealership FWIW. Like I said I know this is a bold color combo and not for everyone but we do love it, and at least now people have an opportunity to see what this color combination looks like.

I don't begrudge you ordering the color combination. All that matters is that you like it! You should get exactly what you want to get!
For the 2023 model year, only 12 of the 12,069 Amplify Orange C8 Stingrays got an Adrenaline Red interior. Only 1 out of 212 this model year. So, it is an uncommon choice.
Yes definitely not common, actually mine was #2 for the 24 model year #1 was built on the 29 September. Appreciate the conversation, I love to hear everyone's opinions and the such. Funny how corvettes stir people up, I can't wait to do some cruising around. I was a little annoyed with drivers coming home but most were driving slower to take a look so I just smile and wave 👋.
When we ordered our car, the three colors my wife and I liked best were Accelerate Yellow Metallic, Rapid Blue, and Amplify Orange Tintcoat. We ended up ordering Accelerate Yellow Metallic. We went with Bright Red brake calipers and Torch Red seatbelts to compliment the brake calipers. We went with black interior with yellow stitching. Not exactly a bold interior choice but the seatbelts are a little different. I have always preferred black leather interiors
If we had gone with Amplify Orange Tintcoat, I am not sure what interior we would have chosen. Probably black though....

Winders,
ah OK I understand now.
Initially I thought that the purchase was compulsory. In my case (in Europe) I paid the complete amount at the signature of the purchase (and got the Front Lift free as discount). Unfortunately the price protection does not work outside USA.
