My 2021 is being built today, and I plan on attending in October. I've been through level 1 and level 2 at Spring Mountain, and have been racing for 16 years, so I won't gain much at the school, but I am looking forward to seat time in the C8, and to see how much the resort has grown. My last time there was in 2006.

I just got back from Spring Mountain yesterday. Best investment I’ve ever made for my corvette experience. I wish I had done it before with my previous corvette purchases. You really learn a lot about the car and it’s characteristics. Everyone there was super friendly and very helpful. I was with the fast group and at first was a little uncomfortable since I’ve never had any track time. By the middle of the second day, I was way more relaxed and comfortable, able to push myself and the car much harder. The skills you learn there will also make you a better, more aware driver on the street. The wet driving practice (abs braking and wet figure 8) is very educational and will show you how good the weather mode is. Everyone that has a performance car should be going to this experience.

That weather mode was amazing.
. What spun the car three times around the lap before couldn't budge the rear end with the weather mode engaged...we were all dumbfounded with how effective it is.

Not sure where Zormecteon got his info, but Spring Mountain is extremely friendly toward spouses. I'm not talking about attending classes and debriefs, but to be there, enjoy the fun, food, etc. and maybe even videotape you from various vantage points, enjoy the facility, meet the instructors and feel a part of the process---Spring Mountain is terrific. She/he might even get some ride-alongs with instructors. I have been to Spring Mountain 4 times and the instructors/employees/facilities are 5 star for a motorsport experience.
Think you can drive? Try to match any instructor's time within 5 seconds and it's hats off to you!!!!

Humbling experience. You have been driving to the best of your ability. Instructor sits in the driver seat. You ride shotgun. Instructor demonstrates what the car is truly capable of while eating a sandwich and driving one handed on the course you have been slaying all day. If you pay attention and apply the effects on the following day your times drop drastically and you feel really good.

It is officially 1 year. But if you call Spring Mountain, they can extend it a bit. I had to do this for my C7 class. Spring Mountain folks were great.
I will complete my day 2 class tomorrow. It's been awesome.

Great information, I am scheduled to attend November 27,28. Remember you only have one year to get this at the discounted price and the spots are filling up quickly.

One thing no one has mentioned here I think is that you get your own 32gb sd card for the PDR and get to take it home with you. I just got the welcome email a week ago and it mentioned that fact, so I was pretty excited. I go on 8/27-28, I am planning on having my Go Pro setup on the rear cabin window as well!

Spot on write up. Looks like things haven't changed at all since I attended in 2017. I will be going again in September or October. Don't forget to drop $100 or more if you can afford it into the tip jar. Those guys are great and deserve it.

I got a 64gb sandisk sd card from them. They said that you’ll either get a 32gb or 64gb depending on what they have at the time. They had it all set up and programmed with the track info.
