Interval Between 3400 and TPW
This may have been covered before, and I may not have titled the topic correctly. However, I am confused. My order is at 3000 since the first of May. I have been told by Shane that my TPW is 8/23. As of today my event code is still 3000. Shouldn't it move to 3400 soon if the 8/23 TPW holds? Answer is important as I really want to confirm timing due to just making arrangements today to sell my 2001 C5. Thanks in advance for explanation.

Then, you have to guess how long it'll be before it ships from the factory, how long it takes to get to your dealer, and how long it takes for the other paperwork processes at the dealer. But that varies so much that there's no way to take even a shot at that.
Hope that helps..you're very close, and once it starts it seems to go really fast.
Any answer is only a guess, because only GM knows what's happening with it's planning. With that out of the way, there's been a mostly repeatable pattern of moving to 3100/3300 about 18 days before your tpw week. Usually on Thursday afternoons. With a tpw of 8/23, if that pattern continues as we reach the end of MY21 planning, it's likely that you'll move to 3300 later this week. Then, following the same pattern, your move to 3400 is likely to occur 7-12 days before your production day.

I'm impressed.
