Default July Allocations Tracking

I know the July group of allocations is very small compared to other months like March (their ‘thread’ is 190 pages plus); April (65 pages plus) and May (just a few pages). However, those folks seem to value the tracking exchanges that went on between the group members as they progressed from 3000 to 3800 & even delivery. Also, I know VetteBessed would be able to get good input data for the “2200 Production Spreadsheet” he is managing.

I may not be smart enough to pull together a tracking spreadsheet (apparently there are a couple of generic spreadsheet forms out there that are being used in those prior months), but I’m glad to help in some way or maybe try to capture in LIST FORM some information to keep up with each other and the build progress. I’m thinking the LIST might be quite small because of the very low number of July allocations and for sure not everyone is active on the CF.

Here are the possible inputs to start a List or Spreadsheet:

Handle, maybe your State, TPW date, Color, Model (HTC or Coupe), Trim (1LT, 2LT or 3LT), Z51 (Yes or No), NCM (Yes or No), later info like 3300 date, 3400 date, VIN, Build date, Delivery date. I think its fine to streamline or reduce all these inputs to just the key ones but thought I would throw everything against the wall to get some thoughts going.

Again, this may not be a valuable enough exercise for folks to warrant going ahead, but thought I would at least put this ‘thread thinking’ on the table. Would welcome thoughts from those that got July allocations.

I have a VIN number, last five digits are: 00131.

This is way too exciting when is moving this fast, after crazy levels of anxiety and desperation the months of May, June and July. I hope it picks up for everyone else also.

Awesome! I believe the tpw threads are a critical component to being able to answer the question everyone who finally gets an allocation wants to know: when will my car likely be built? The information contained in these threads, put together gives us the clearest picture of that than anything else we've tried over the past year. And, it's truly an enjoyable experience to share the build process with others going through the same thing at the same time. Just make sure you tip the bartender in the "forever 3000 club", as I hear you get out earlier if you do....

This is a great idea and thanks for taking on this effort. I think July will be a very short, quick month with the limited allocations and GM greatly whittling down the backlog of accepted orders. Hopefully other folks will jump on board and have an August allocation thread in mind as this information is coming down the tracks!

Greetings! I manage the "April Allocation" thread, and would be more than happy to create a blank template for you July folks to utilize. If interested, just PM me what information you would like added to the spreadsheet, and I'll send you a form you can begin to update/manage!

Perfect, thanks! I will wait to see over the next couple days how many enthusiastic July allocation followers we get onboard.

Default Keep'em Coming

OK, looks like we are getting some July allocation (need to come up with a better 'Group' name) inputs; 5-6 already. I will try to put something together in the next couple of days that tabulates some or most of this incoming data.

I emailed the lady at the corvette museum. I’ll hold off to not bother her again for a bit. Exciting news. Also, it’s with a grain of salt….anything could change.
