its a brand new corvette i want it replaced b/c those spots shouldnt be there. Thats a last resort but who pays 80k for a car that has that... NOT ME

i havent been told anything besides it was being sent up to higher ups... whatever the heck that means and ill hear back within 48 hrs.
Great, if you don’t hear from them in 48 hours or let’s say by Monday give me a jingle back. The reason they are giving you a hard time is under warranty they are not supposed to repair. They will have to replace the whole back cover. It’s a bit pricey.

Listen, I am sympathetic to situations like this and I am also very vocal to nonsense. Please consider that it may not be worth your sanity to let that bother you. Unless you plan on competing in shows I guarantee you there will be worse to the car within 90 days if you daily it.
I am not downplaying your frustration, I am recommending that you balance the interests of everything involved. I am assuming you just waited a year or so for your car. Take it and enjoy it.
I had a similar very tiny tear on my C7 console leather after it went into a local shop. I used a tiny amount of fabric glue that dries clear and carefully put it under the flap and pressed it down. Could not see it the next day.
I have the car and im enjoying it. it isnt a daily driver but i do drive it.. i just think its not how a 80k car should be delivered. actually any new car shouldnt. I appreciate your opinion..If this was done by dealer after delivery or even me i wouldnt care at all but thats not the case.. thanks again

still no response and i left a msg with my claim advisor thur...
so the person handling my claim called and said it was sent to someone in my region and doesn't know why it hasnt been picked up or assigned...its absolute b.s. and ill guess ill keep going higher and higher until resolved
