Could some of our supporters and suppliers please develope and market elbow pads for the door and console with color specific leather. I can not believe the lack of interior parts available for this car.
Didn't they announce they were going to change the "stack"? What model is that going to happen to?
No announcement. Just rumors. GM is unlikely to spend the hundreds of millions of dollars it would cost to design and manufacture new interior components when their focus is on performance variants and electric cars.

That article doesn't cite an announcement, it cites anonymous "sources." Just a blog site's attempt to get more clicks.
Just posting what I read. However isn't that the way most stories get leaked? (anonymous "sources.") If we relied on any new info to come from GM's mouth especially Tadge you wouldn't know anything about the cars until they hit the showrooms. Tadge only admits to rumors when his lies gets exposed to be the truth.

You need to evaluate the source of the rumor. Motor Trend has little credibility. They're the ones who said the Stingray made more than 550 HP at the rear wheels. And posted a render of a "plug in hybrid C8" and pretended it was a photo of the actual car being tested.
Had you posted "isn't it rumored that they're going to change the interior" no one would have said a thing. But a rumor is a long way from an "announcement" or fact.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
