I was at dealer this past weekend to order my 2022 C8. I won’t bore you with details but I do have a question I hope someone can answer. Does the 2LT trim REQUIRE the GT2 seats? The option guide doesn’t show that, but the salesperson said they are (this person also didn’t know about theTVS option when asked). I have searched everywhere and have found that the GT1 seats are standard on the 2LT trim and GT2 seats are available upgrades.

No, the 2LT does not require GT2 seats. However, some interior configurations will require GT2 seats. What interior option (code) do yo have on the order?
You can see on the chart that Zymurgy attached, the GT2 seats are not required for a 2LT. However, if you want the two-tone seat option ($395), then you must get the GT2 seats ($1495).
If you want the GT1 seats, tell the dealer/salesman to submit it that way and see if it is accepted.
Zymurgy,
Thank you for the information! The dealer input the wrong RPO code HTN for the seat color forcing the GT2 requirement. He should have used HUV.

Glad I could help you and that you/your dealer figured out the problem.
