Vehicle build date is ~July 20. Took delivery in early August.
Just noticed another underbody hole right next to the jacking point oblong hole. Anybody knows what it's used for? Never saw it in the online pictures or videos.
Maybe they just made such change on the newer builds?
No way to tell. It could have been for something that never happened, or for something anticipated in the future, or for assembly, or a drain, or... If it were of any real consequence location or size-wise, I'd be concerned. Such things are common on most mass produced items, at least ones as complex as automobiles. I suspect if you look under the hood on most cars you'll find such. Now, go for a DRIVE and don't give it another thought!
Thanks for all the answers! From my understanding the strapping hole is the one on the very left side of the picture. The circled one never appeared on any of the pics I saw online.
However good to know from TeeH that at least one other car is the same, so I know it is unlikely to be an assembly mistake.
