No it wouldn’t. But have no fear, the C8 ‘80’s conversion kit is coming in 2023 complete with flip-up headlights, round tail lights, cb radio, blue-blocker sunglasses, gold chain and extra thick wallet.

The lines of the C8 would make round tail lights look funny and dated. The oem round tail lights look great on a C6, but not on a C8.

C6 needs no conversion. C8 would look goofy with round tail lights

Just STOP 🛑. You bought a C8 and it doesn’t have round taillights.

You want round taillights? Build yourself a rat rod and you can have anything you want. Heck, you can even have six taillights if you want.

Yeah round tail lights are so ‘80’s . The problem is the rear end of the C8 is so ugly that even round tail lights wouldn’t make it look any better & you’d be doing a disservice to the tail lights.

Clearly Ferrari missed the memo from Corvette Forum members on how outdated round tail lights were.

There was an Italian firm that showed a round tail light C7 conversion, but they never made any production versions. Likewise, one of the forum vendors actually built a prototype C7 round tail light rear fascia based on all the previous generation owners squawking about the lack of round tail lights. The actual product was universally panned and they also never made any. There won't be a C8 round tail light fascia conversion.

That's a meaningless comparison. The rear fascia design of those cars is nothing like the C8. Round tail lights look OK on those but would not on the C8.Those all have curved/rounded styling so the round lights fit. The C8 styling is very linear/sharp lines. Round tail lights will not fit with the styling.

I think it’s time to stop looking at the past and give the round tail lights a rest. That’s “rest in peace”.

Some people just can't adapt to the fact that time marches on, and want to continue to live in the 1960s.

But I believe there have now been more years of Corvettes that did NOT have round taillight than did.

Those cars all have much more rounded body forms than the more angular C8. Might as well say that the C6 should not have had round lights because they would have looked terrible on the '53 Corvette.

And frankly, the round lights sticking up on the 1st photo look terrible.

Maybe they will come out with one of those fiberglass Rolls Royce grills for the C8. You know, like the ones they put on Volkswagen Beetles years ago...

I find it interesting that some just can't seem to leave Corvettes the way Bowling Green builds them.
If they don't like the C8 why not just buy something else as opposed to making drastic and costly alterations. Same goes for Lambo Doors.
