I have a 2LT Z51 Coupe, how do I turn on the front camera so I can see the curb I'm pulling up to ? or the work bench in my garage, so I don't run into it.
This camera is one of the best Daily Driver devices on this car. It makes parking worry free which you need with a DD where you can't see the end of the nose.
I don't know how many times it's kept me from running into a concrete block I couldn't see.
I use it every time I enter the garage and it doesn't confuse me at all.
I think he means the fisheye view. It’s so distorted, I’m not sure what it’s supposed to help with. The top down view tells you everything you need to know.
I will say compared to the overhead views in my other cars, the Corvette’s is a really short view. I don’t see curbs until I’m like a foot from them.
Anyone adapt this option in a car without the option ?
I know this is a very old thread but have been searching and found nothing.
I have a 2024 1LZ Z06 with PDR and for some reason when I ordered the car I thought I would have a factory curb alert but bettter … one with a camera not a beep 😉 Obviously I was wrong.
I back into parking spots most of the time, don’t want a string with a tennis ball hanging from my garage ceiling … anyone have any ideas on this ?

There are aftermarket options available that broadcast the image via WiFi to a cell phone or other screen. They're mostly marketed as backup cameras, but can be mounted in the front as well. I think it would be very difficult to add the OEM system so you can see it on the car's infotainment screen.

The fisheye view has one MAJOR issue: it intends to combine the views from the two side cameras but won't show a 4"x4" post right in front of the car, dead center. Ask me how I know...
