Default Rear Script Removal

I have seen multiple C8's with the "Corvette" script removed from the rear end. can the car be ordered without it? is it just a stick on type littering that they are removing with a little heat?

They are just stuck on. The letters are pretty thin and should be easy to remove. I’ve had microfiber towels get caught on edges and almost pull them off by accident.

WD-40 also works well for removing the residual adhesive that remains after the letters are removed.

The car cannot be ordered without the lettering. If one orders the red, white or blue lettering, the car ships with the black lettering and the dealer removes and then installs the selected color.

I remove stickers from everything and have never needed heat, just waxed floss and Goo Gone and/or TurtleWax.

(btw, my granddaughter loved painting the Stingrays from my C7 purple with orange and green polka-dots. )
