Noon Wednesday 9-22, I was east bound just a few miles outside of Phoenix on I 10. West bound was a full transport of C8s. Kind of eerie to see a dozen cars shrouded in white. No way of knowing where Santa was headed. The lucky buyers could be Phoenix. Typical route further west to LA. Even Las Vegas or San Diego. Pretty cool nonetheless.

Another eerie thing. I was cruising at 65 +/- going slower in my just purchased Mazda CX 5. In the outside lane. Break in miles. When I was passed in center lane by a Tu Simple semi rig. No big deal eh? Except it is a major deal. Tu Simple operates autonomous trucks Phoenix/Tucson. Standard Kenworth and 40' trailer. What wasn't standard. It had no human driver. Weird, but I slowed down to let it get a good lead on me. Might not be ready for the New World Order.
