Default Nav and Track app question

So I searched a bit but didn't find what I was looking for. I went to put a sd card into the arm rest for the track app and there is already a maps card in there for the nav. So does that mean I can only use one or the other? If I remove the maps card I wont have maps for the Nav? I was wanting to use the track app as a traffic cam but I guess not if I loose nav data by removing the map card. or is there another sd slot somewhere im missing?

SD card goes in the Glove box *IF* you have a PDR. Not all C8s have one.

Don't be mad you didn't do the simplest thing. It's way faster than asking someone else to answer the question for you. People act like it's a sign of their failure as a man to not read the book full of information on how their car works. It even has pictures!

Every hear the adage walk a mile in someone else's shoes? Not that a long winded reply is needed but so you know I dont have the manual its packed in a box as I have only had the car less then 2 weeks and we are in the middle of a move and everything went straight in a box. I just now had a few mins to play with a sd card and couldn't figure it out. I figured would be faster to simply ask here then going through the trouble of finding an on line manual that may or may not answer my question. You assumed I was being lazy instead of maybe thinkin I may have circumstances that require I ask. But in true internet fashion you put more effort into being insulting and dismissive then just simply saying hey yeah its in the glove box ( like the other helpful member did) not the arm rest. Guess that validates your man card? being totally unhelpful to fellow car enthusiasts ?

Thank you sir. I didn't have access to my manual and would of never guessed it was in the glove box. I thought it was the one in the arm rest. Thanks for your kind reply.

Don't waste your time with the printed Owners Manual. Use the online PDF version (download it to your computer). You can search it to find stuff you'll never find using the printed manual. You can find links to the Owners Manual for each year here: Manuals, Reference Material, FAQs, DIY Threads

Look at your apps on the screen in the car. The My Chevrolet app has the owner's manual in it for your car and you can use a keyword search to find what you are looking for without looking at the book. I used it yesterday to set up Z Mode. I had a question about one of the instructions, searched again, and there was my answer.

I also get tired of the "read the manual" comments. I picked up my car on 9/14. It rained very hard the next three days so I read the manual cover to cover. Unless you have a photographic memory you can't remember everything in it. I was happy to see it was on the screen in the car!

Nope, not typical! Won't find "IN" the glove compartment as the manual also states, have to look on the left outer edge after you open it! If in the garage as I just had to remove and clear mine best use a flashlight to find the slot!

Nope you're right much easier to ask (or a Zymugy said use the PDF and word search.) Many of us will have positive answers and where i have them include a pic! Get min 256MB as 16 MB will fill took quickly. Can use much larger
