so I am in a corvette club with over 200 members. Many have multiple cars. When in a conversation I say….on corvette forum……most I’m thinking 80 90% say what’s that? Lol.

a few years back at midohio my friend blew the engine in his new 16 z06. Chevy gave him a new car. Another dude blew the engine on his Porsche. Porsche said we don’t warranty our cars on the track. He dropped like 30k getting a new engine…traded it for a c7 z.

Op - make sure they flush and/or replace your dry sump lines/components. There will be shiny metal bits in there you don't want in your new engine.

Anything made by man can fail. Find me a car model from any manufacturer that has never had a failure. That's why they come with warranties.

Google any car brand or model followed by problems and you'll be afraid to ever buy another car.

Over 50,000 LT2s, a 99.9 percent reliability rate would be 50 engine failures. Do you really think there have been more than that?

The GM dry sump tank is attached directly to the engine. No lines connecting them. The should flush the tank though.
