Does anyone know when the allocations are distributed? Is it monthly, quarterly, yearly?
Seen a lot of information about allocations, but have not come across the time frames.
Every 2 weeks they are given out to the dealerships.

My understanding is it's every two weeks for Chevy cars and trucks. BUT for the C8 from 2020 it was once a month and in some cases less.
After the issues for the 2020 where in 2019 even before the strike and pandemic GM told dealers the annual allocation estimate they were given (as they were every year prior) would have to be reduced without giving a number. In around February 2020 they were all told it was cut to about half. To even meet that they had to extend the 2020 build year by several months.
Hasn't it been 3 weeks since the last allocation cycle?
My local dealer just had their last allocations 10/7, and get them roughly every 2 weeks. However, this is a high volume dealership in a wealthier demographic area, and maybe that effects it somehow.

My understanding is all dealers are treated equally. Chevy doesn't care about how wealthy the "area is!" Doubt anyone would consider Atlantic City (where I get mine from Kerbeck -now Ciocca) wealthy! You can bet the largest Vette dealer gets treated like all others!

Talk to anyone in the dealer business, and you'll know that there isn't much fair treatment. Sales and volume speak, Chevy wants to make money, that's why they are in business.

Thanks for the response. I guess I'm trying to determine if I'll get a '22 or '23. I know my dealer says I'm 10th in line, and claims to be one of the biggest dealers in north Alabama area. Placed my dealer order on 9/27/2021. Luckily it was MSRP.
Any thought, comments? Would be appreciated.
Kind of pondered buying a Corvette for a couple of months. Wish I would have pulled the trigger a little earlier?
Does anyone know if the 2022 model year is sold out yet? I realize some dealers may not be, but it seems the big guys are flush with deposits to get in line to order.

I waited too long also, it worked out, but I should have gotten in line earlier.
However, I am glad I waited as Amplify Orange came out and that's what I went with which wasn't around in 2021.

dealers don’t know. At MacMulkin there were those that put their order in for a 2021. A few months later they were told to forget about the 2021. They did move them up to the 1st in line for the 2023. Dealers don’t know.
An example for the month we are in, October. Dealers received their Consensus for how many Corvettes they will receive for the month on Thursday, October 7th since it was the 1st Thursday of the month. Next the allocations will drop into the system on the following Thursday, being tomorrow October 14th and some potentially a week from tomorrow, Thursday October 21st.
Then GM will repeat the next month consensus with the dealer network and repeat the same procedure.
