ACS is legit, painted in Canada, not Chinese junk as some are ignorantly implying. Talk to them... Their customer service is great. I've had their products on my C7 & C8.
Better customer service would be not sending blemished products.

ACS goes over each Carbon Flash painted item by hand, and even waxes them, before going out the door. That's far more than most brands can say. Mistakes happen, give them the chance to rectify the issue.
I just received my 1VM front splitter from ACS, yes minor paint blemishes, once installed I will compound or wet sand them to perfection. Thanks for the post though because I was ready to let it sit in the box until my new C8 arrives.

WOW! I wish ACS had told me that when I contacted them about ceramic coating mine. I received it yesterday and just wiped it down with alcohol before ceramic coating it. Don't know if that was a waste of time now.
Can anyone tell me if the ACS-1VM covers any of the plates beneath the car that may need to be removed for servicing, etc.?
Received and installed mine and it uses the same screws as the O.E.M. splitter. I don't know of any normal servicing that would require the front panels to be removed.

Unfortunately they DO send out blemished products and I even questioned their quality control. I sent pics of fish eyes imbedded in my Carbon Flash rockers and decided to wet sand and repair the subpar product myself. ACS did make it right and compensated me for my time. Perfect paint is rare these days and at least ACS will bend over backwards to make it right.
Although I had to deal with their paint issues, I would still give them a thumbs up as a top tier business.
My experience with ACS Composite can be summed up as ‘Very Poor Quality Control on the finish of the product’. I promptly used chat and emailed photos of the issue. Customer service simply responded this meets their quality standards and no action would be taken. Very Poor Quality Surface Finish even though you paid premium price. BEWARE.
????my CF 5VM rocker extensions are manufactured from the raw materials to the final product in Columbus, Ohio......I certainly would not purchase anything that attaches to my car that is not domestically made.....(splitters, rocker extensions, rear valance, exhaust, etc). There are numerous fantastic vendors that build their stuff right here for the C8. If there is quality control issue, I can go directly to the manufacturing source via a domestic phone call.
I fully understand it's a global economy, and there are zillions of parts on the C8 that are not made domestically. I am certainly not a "buy USA-made or forget it" kind of person. But I am particular with certain things (home listening room amplifiers/speakers, headphone amps, grandfather clocks, etc)
Not debating the Op's issue but...... I have dealt with ACS with my C6(2009), C7(2014) and now my C8(2023). Never a problem. My only issue with ACS, if you want to call it an issue was that I received two front splitters when I only ordered one!!! I have installed a front splitter, side skirts and extended rock guards on my C8.
Purchased several products from them recently and all have been excellent quality and finish. Did have an issue with the plate holder not fitting my state plate properly. Sent pictures and was sent a return label and refunded promptly.
I bought ACS and the cheap PFYC wickers to see which were the best quality.
The ACS were flawless, painted and smooth on both sides.
The PFYC were not great quality. The wickers were only finished on the exposed side. The opposite sides were rough enough to to scratch the painted surface they sat up against and did not have a smooth painted finish. The PFYC went into the trash. ACS are on the car.
Received my splitter and side skirts from ACS yesterday. I inspected all three with an LED lighted magnifying glass. Perfect condition, every square inch.
I received my 5VM side skirts from ACS today, and I was an unlucky I suppose. The bottoms look like they were drug across the floor. That's ok though, because it's the bottom and it's going to get pelted by rocks anyways. But the paint under my car looks 100x better than that right now. There are random blemishes/paint nibs on both of them. It's like the surface wasn't prepared well or they were not painted in a dust free environment. The thing I am upset about is an area on the "good" side of the skirt toward the bottom. It looks like someone took touch up paint and and touched up a defect! It looks bad and physically feels rough. It's definitely not what I expected with a company with such a high reputation for quality and for spending $2000 on them. I did contact them to see what they can do. I'm not sure I want to put them on the car how they are now. So... it's not all sunshine and rainbows with ACS... Or I could just have bad luck?
