Welcome to the Forum, and best wishes on your C8 coming in soon.
As far as the actual wait, it is really hard to tell. Members in the C8 section could probably give you a "guesstimate", but have you tried checking with Mike Furman? He would probably have better insight.

My deposit 9/2/2020 and picking up my 2022 HTC Z51 on Thursday 11/11...it was built 10/28, so wait was 14 months--just saying. That is about what he advised when I made my deposit. He said 12-16 months so he was pretty close.

I made my deposit on 12/30/20 with Mike. I haven't heard anything yet. I'm estimating my delivery in February 2022. I would say you're looking at June/July 2022. With Criswell I think we're looking at 13 to 14 months. I think you're still looking at MY 2022.

I'm trying to get a garage built. It'll be close on which comes first; the car or the garage.

Mine took 10 months from my small local dealership. I paid MSRP and the dealer is 6 miles from my house and they are awesome to deal with.

Hendrick is not the largest dealer in the USA.

Some people try to claim Hendrick is top dog because they add sales from all the Hendrick franchises. However, that's not they way GM handles allocations. Each individual Hendrick store is treated as a separate entity.

I just looked at the top 100 list from 2020. If all of the Hendrick dealerships in the top 100 were added together, they sold 705, making them #3. However, each location is listed separately in the top 100. The Hendrick Group does not get a corporate allocation. Each dealership separately competes for allocations based upon sales.

I placed my deposit with Mike back in April. At the time he said it was running about 9-11 months for an allocation. Then 2 months or so to receive the car. I’m hoping to hear from him in January but won’t hold my breath due to the production delays. I do hope to get a car before Summer next year.

At least a year from May. I would call it not to close.

Thank you. Looks like I may be at the end of the 22 model year or beginning of 23 with my April 21 deposit.

I took delivery from Mike at the end of May 2021. At that time, he was estimating 10 to 12 months to get an allocation, then 6 to 8 weeks after that to receive your car. So you're probably looking at next May unless a lot of people have dropped out.

But those who suggested calling Mike have the right answer.
