My new 2022 C8 Coupe was built on Nov. 4.
It just got shipped today Nov. 16.
My C8 went thru Quality Control, it took 12 days.
Hope this helps whoever is waiting.
Awesome news! Thanks for posting. This gives the rest of us a little hope that ours will ship soon. Mine has been on hold since 11/2.
Mine was built 11/3, but I missed my window for getting to the museum any time soon to pick it up, so now it doesn't actually matter to me since it will just be sitting at the museum instead of at the factory
How do y'all know it was in QC hold and not just waiting for a truck to pick it up? Is there a status number you were provided that indicated that? Thanks

The QC information was relayed to me by a very reliable source, Shane Webb at the Corvette Museum.
Understood on Shane. Just wondering if 4B00 means waiting on a truck and 4D00 (vehicle on hold) is the QC hold y'all are speaking of.
A good question which I cannot answer. Besides QC my C8 was also possibly waiting for parts. After being built it had a status of 4B00 - Bayed.
I also understand that several newly built C8s were waiting for missing parts to be installed due to chip and parts shortage. Mine could have been one of these cars.
I really do not have more info, but very glad my C8 now is on its way to come to papa.
I had a C7 that sat at 4B00 for a couple of weeks. It wasn't a matter of waiting for a truck. Mike Furman inquired with all his considerable insider network as to what it meant, and he never could get an answer. The car arrived with 4 miles on the Odo.

How long will the museum hold it? Not sure. I’m guessing they’re more flexible around the holidays due to factory (and probably museum) closings.
I shoulda just keep with the Ciocca delivery and the hour and a half ride home. Hindsight, though.
sucks because for like 99% of people, the production delay was just a minor inconvenience. For me it threw off everything.
again, hard to complain when all of us are so very fortunate, so it’s keeping it in perspective it’s still just a minor inconvenience, but relatively speaking it did make a big difference for me.m
I received a message today from the NCM canceling my delivery because my car is still at the factory. My car was built about 10 days ago, Vin # 6124. I'm stuck at 3800 Does anyone know anything about a wheel problem? I have the standard wheels non Z51.
@Mrvett when were you supposed to get it? Same thing happened to me for last weekend. Car is STILL at 3800. Was built on 11/3.
