Wheel wells
Are the front and rear wheel wells smooth or just the front as was done for the C7. It was much easier to clean the smooth front wheel wells than the "fuzzy" rear wheel wells on the C7.

Having a hard plastic wheel well liner was one by of the positive things about the C5s I owned - made cleanup a breeze. Not sold on the fuzzy liner on my C7 and guess they continued it with the C8.

I wonder why GM uses that fuzzy finish on the rear wheel well liners? Seems odd. It’s the only car I have had that did not have smooth plastic wheel well liners. It doesn’t seem like a good finish for an area that gets dirt, mud, tar, etc. sprayed on it.

I think it's for sound deadening. All four on my CTS are "fuzzy." I brush them with a long-arm brush.
