I did not get the front lift on my c-8 for a number or reasons but...if i decide that I might want it now could I get it put on???
I might think that the basic parts are there or maybe not..I have googled this but can not find any info.

You can’t find info because there is no readily obtainable kit for it. If you want it, you almost certainly have to get it from the factory and it would cost less than any aftermarket kit due to the work to install one even if it did exist.

I don't think it is feasible.
(Excuse me, I failed to see the previous response.)

Makes sense...I just thought that they might leave major parts there just in case but I do not know how it works anyway.I am not too worried..I have a skid-spliter plate and not worried about small scratches..If something big happens, even with the lift if you forget to use it..I have great insurance with low deductible... but only once..
Thanks for info...Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving day...................

Yeah, you won't be getting front lift then. It's a factory option that no 3rd party mfg. is going to want to touch due to costs/complexity.

Isn't this your first Corvette? I ask because I know that you live near me. I had four Corvettes before my C8 and all of them scraped somewhere near us, so I got the front lift on my C8.

Just take all of the train crossings very slow and at an angle if possible. If you can avoid steep driveways into businesses - which I couldn't in the 30 years I owned my other Corvettes - try to avoid them. People don't realize how "hilly" the Atlanta area is and how some of the DOT engineers didn't do a very good job when they designed some roads here.

You are correct that you can't see the scratches and your skid splitter plate will help. I don't think you'll have to use your insurance at all around here unless the scratches bug you. I think you'll find places where you worry about scraping and be able to avoid them on future trips.

As others have said, adding the front lift system after taking delivery of the car would be an extremely difficult, and expensive, thing to do. Just be careful in your driving habits when it comes to driveways, speed bumps, etc. and hope for the best.

The mechanical components (and likely the wiring harness) aren't there. And even if there was a connector in the harness the computer wouldn't understand it.
You could probably cobble together the replacement shocks, pump, lines, etc. and figure out how to raise and lower it with a switch but it wouldn't be elegant and likely cost a lot more than the option when it comes with the car.

Tlhis is my second vette.. My first was a c-7..Got started late in life
I did want it and had it on my order but then i lost out on 2021 and got the 2022 and they raised the price around $2500 and that just caused me to really think about the lift. I had just reached my cost limit, in my mind...Hope I do not regret it..but like i said you can also think you are good and then hit something..I wished they could have put like a radar or sensor to lift auto at say 20 mph if needed.
I put a really hard scratch on my c-7 at home depot..Parked next to a concrete raise and turned too hard and it ran up the block...Had to back off and listen to all that scraping...
Anyway it is what it is...

If you didn't have any problems with your C7 you will have fewer in the C8. I used to scrape the air damn of my C7 on my driveway pulling out but do not on the C8. I contemplated the lift for about 5 seconds and opted for the Carbon Fiber interior accents instead...glad I did. But, you have to know where you live. I occasionally have a driveway apron I have to take on an angle but no crazy speed bumps etc. At this point you are stuck with a highly desirable C8 Corvette. Enjoy.
