What do you mean low volume year? Aside from one full day of 0 production and one whole week of half production BGA has not had a single unscheduled shutdown for this model year. 2022 MY is only going to be “low volume” by virtue of when 2023 MY production starts unless some big supply or production issue pops up.

Somewhat related... my wife and I went to talk to a BMW dealer on Saturday. He said the certain models will not have touch screens and certain models will not have power seats and certain X models cant get a trailer hitch. All because of supply issues. Instead of stopping production, they are just continuing to build but without those options. Imagine a new 7 series without a power seat. Its a strange time we are living in.
did you call Shane at the museum? He knows more than gm or local dealer.
I've never called Shane. I see his name repeated here on CF regularly with a recommendation of "call Shane", and I often wonder how many calls the man can possibly field in a day, or a week, and also why his job permits him time to field them!

No I haven't called him. I'm just going to try be patient. At some point, I know the dealer is going to call me because they'll want their money :-)
Hopefully for me, once I finally start moving, it will move quickly.
There are some of us that have paid in full for our cars and are stuck in the wheel issue. It's not right that they continue to build cars deliver them while our car's are on hold sitting in the lot.

I’m not in your shoes, but I would be pretty perturbed about this If I were.
I called the Corvette Concierge today still at 4000 for 3rd week. My dealer suggested I should be sending him insurance ID and wiring instructions for full payment and has no idea when car is going to be delivered. Why anyone would pay for their car before it’s at your dealer. Personally there is no way I’m laying out $100k sight unseen.

Nothing wrong with dealer asking for info. Actual payment, on the other hand…
As an FYI, anyone doing a courtesy delivery, Museum delivery or being shipped from the dealer (which is what I am doing) all pay up front usually once the car is invoiced from GM. For courtesy delivery, they are not the ones that sold the car so the selling dealer wants to get paid once invoiced. Same goes for museum delivery. It's standard practice and has been this way for a long time. 95% of the time it probably isn't an issue and the dealer is just doing what is standard practice. It's this particular situation we are in (extended QC hold for damaged wheels) that is causing the issue. When BGA has an issue such as this they SHOULD NOT invoice the dealer until the car is complete and they definitely shouldn't issue the certificate of origin as they have done with mine. This is what is causing the problem.
I'm jealous, I've been sitting at 3000 since October 20th :-(
Most who are at 3000 as of 10/20 have a TPW of 12/13, MM has not updated my status so I emailed Lori at the NCM and found out when my TPW was. I am sure your TPW is also 12/13.
