Default Lowered…finally

I was hesitant to lower my C8…worried about things like compromised ride, wheel/tire clearance and the horror stories about C8’s falling off the lift. I finally did it though and none of the concerns materialized. Ride is either the same….or maybe even better and even though I have wider and more aggressive offset wheels, there are zero issues with clearance. The apprehension about putting the car on the lift was unfounded as well. Using the pucks in the proper locations gave the car a very balanced feel on the lift. Even though, I still removed the rear wheels first. It’s not slammed but is lowered exactly the right amount for me.

Looks great! Lowered C8 really changes the look! I also dropped it down using Z51 coilovers but decided I wanted to go a little lower so I added the Paragon Performance springs as well.

exactly, stock coil overs lowered about 90%. Left enough threads on the adjuster ring to feel comfortable with it.

yes, and same pucks fit my C7 and my C5. Just standard aluminum pucks. Nothing fancy.

Are your perches fully lowered with the springs? The fender gap looks perfect.

agree. This was on the way home and grabbed a quick pick to catch the sky colors. Next time I get the car out I’ll try to get a decent side photo….even though I think the car looks kind of plain from the side.

Does the front splitter lower the ground clearance or it just sticks out further than the stock Z51 splitter?
