Went for a ride today in the c8. I pulled in the paddles to rev the motor and the Trany did something it never has done before. I reved it with the paddles in and it reved right up but the rpm seamed to kinda stay up a bit and come down slowly while I still had the paddles still pulled in. Anyone have this happen? Hope there’s nothing wrong with the tranny

The whole time you were in Double Paddle Declutch? So basically you were in Neutral the whole time? Therefore since you were in Neutral, I’m not understanding how the DCT affects engine RPM since the DCT and engine are essentially disconnected…

exactly! It was like the tranny was kinda engaged after rev. With both paddles still held back.
Yup, it's fine, it's just how they're tuned/programmed. It has to do with your speed. You weren't stopped, but still below the burnout mode speed threshold from the sounds of it. The ECU was holding the throttle plate cracked open.
