The plastic door sill protector looks like plastic furniture covers. (My mom left the plastic on lamps until I was big enough to rip them off)
With a previous car that had PPF I was always scuffing the sill so I bought and DIY that area. Its quite inexpensive and since its not really visible to anyone but you, doesnt matter if not perfect,. If it gets too sliced up just peel it off. As far as how often I scuff on C8 I would estimate 10/10.
If going to Amazon with other people in the room , don't type CLEARBRA. By yourself OK.
I got a set of these for 75.00
The bottom picture is before I put these on. They have been on for about 6 months and holding up great scuffs just rub right off.
So I hate putting on plastic over nice door and sill panels. But I hate the scuff marks that reside with this model!!! I never had the issues with prior models that I do with the C8! And I am super careful getting in and out. And I found that the sills once scratched will stay scratched.
You can order Xpel off their website..... take some measurements, cut carefully with scissors and make your own protectors wherever you want for the car. Just a few dollars. I bought several different size sheets. The above were cut from a 4 inch roll.

I wanted to bump this thread again. If anyone has any issues with scuffing the side door panels, please talk to @smokindeal . I got these to put on and they work to perfection. They also blend in perfectly with the black interior.
I literally told my wife I installed them and she had no idea where they were. 😂 Highly recommend them.

Calling @smokindeal. Come in, @smokindeal In the meantime, @cta2417 , can't you just post where you got them? @smokindeal doesn't appear to be the seller because he said he bought them, too.

I got them from @smokindeal. He made them. Contact him.
That's funny, because he posted "I got a set of these for 75.00." I sent him a PM.
I was confused too. Haha but send him a PM and he will hook you up. They are awesome, fit perfectly. Would highly recommend for anyone especially on the times you can’t open the door the whole way to get in and out like a garage or a curb. I’m a tall guy so it’s inevitable that I would scrape with my foot as it’s hard for me to get in and out.
