New to Forum and owning a C8. Just picked it up yesterday.
Question. Mine came with the high wing spoiler. Does the low Z51 spoiler fit the same holes as the high wing? Would a dealer be able to order a color match and install? Should I sell the high wing or try to swap someone who has a color match one?

You should be able to find the OEM Z51 standard spoiler all day long on eBay or the for sale section of this forum or MECF. They are around in both the body color and the Carbon Flash Metallic. I sold mine to a dealer for $400 cash. The standard Z51 spoiler uses the same holes as the high wing. Good luck in your search.

Just buy one in the door she section here in your body color and have it bolted on. Sell your high wing and make a tidy profit.
I had a Z51 wing and changed to the high wing days before taking delivery and I love it! Too each his own, I’m not a fan of the “naked” no spoiler version. Get what you like but I really like the high wing look…I also like the Z51 spoiler.
I am just not loving the look. It seems though most thing they are the bomb. Too flashy for me.
anyone in Texas want to trade? I don’t care about a difference in price. Just want it done right and not get a pos damaged one.
Just be careful when your wing is removed.
When my high wing was constrained I planned on buying aftermarket and installing (or having the dealer install) when I got the car. This is a draft "How To" PDF worth reviewing, that I made in preparation: C8_High_Wing.pdf (netwelding.com)
It's NOT that easy and there are several things to be concerned with:
First the rear bumper has to be removed AND most important be reinstalled with minimum gaps. A number of posts complained it did not fit well when finished. Lots of bolts as you'll see and getting the gaps correct before tightening is time consuming.
Second and one GM WARNS About is in addition to the bolts that hold the wings (Z51 and High Wing) some of the 4 stands use two sided tape AND the paint can peel from the body.
"GM Warning About Installing High Wing:
Don’t use a Heat Gun to loosen the Double Sided tape that holds the Z51 spoiler along with the 6 bolts They recommend using 50 lb test fishing line in a sawing motion through the tape (after the bolts are removed) Any damage cause to the bumper during the removal of the Z51 wing or installing the new wing can not be submitted for warranty!"
BTW after seeing my LBR Z51 wing that was LBR color and NOT the black I expected it looked great never considered the high wing!

Awesome reply and the info in the attachment is great!

I know what you mean. Early on, there was a bid uproar from some people about the looks of the Z51 spoiler. For me, the high wing was too much.
Initially, I could either way between no spoiler and the Z51 spoiler. I wouldn't pay extra for it if it didn't come with the Z51 package but I wouldn't pay extra to have it deleted either.
After I've had the Z51 spoiler for awhile it has grown on me. If it got damaged I would replace it vs doing no spoiler or the new low profile spoiler.
