Frunk remote response issue

I've noticed that it takes multiple attempts to open the Frunk with the remote. The trunk works fine but the frunk takes multiple attempts to open. Does anyone else have this issue?

I found that you have to press the button twice and make sure you hold the second press till it opens. if you release it before it opens it won't open. They did this so it doesn't open by accident if it is pressed while in your pocket.

Just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, had same issue for the first few times I used the "frunk" but it now responds as it should. Just a short term gremlin I guess, maybe yours has one of it's family members?

One quick push and hold the second push until it opens. Works every time then.

Push #1- quick press/release
then
Push #2- press/hold till "Pop" of frunk

Yep, 15 months old and it's so inconsistent I no longer use the FOB button. I've tried both FOBs, tried various push times and pressure on the button first push and held forever on the second! Works about every 5th time! As you say, Trunk works fine.

In fact went to my 1st Car's & Coffee a few weeks ago and must have hit the wrong button when opening the Truck to have the engine visible as I went to the front and Frunk was opened. Tried a few times again and NOTHING as usual. It's just as easy to push the button under the headlight or the one on the door panel!
