Default C8 Convertible engine cover

New member and have a question please. When I open the top up and I look 8n the engine bay it is covered by a black, plastic, cover held don by clips. What is this called? And if I want to remove it for adding and oil catch how do I remove it without breaking the clips? THANK YOU in advance.

I have a coupe (I prefer Berlinetta) so I know nothing about HTCs. but I'll bet someone has a Youtube video on how to do what you want.

The engine heat shield is held on by a bunch (16 or 17, I think) of Torx screws, not clips. Remove all the them and the cover just lifts off. Not sure what clips you're referring to.

Default oil catch can

From what I have read the C8 does not need an oil catch can
