I’m still debating 2LT vs 3LT package. I’m getting Torch Red and I like the Natural Interior dipped. But I’m not sure if the 3LT package to get the dipped is worth it? The two tone natural/ black is nearly as pretty to me. Are there still problems with the leather stretching and creasing with the 3 LT like I’ve read or has this been resolved?

Personally, I like the look of the natural dipped, however not going with the 3LT interior as not willing to except the risk of 3LT dash shrinking and delaminating issues that plagued both the C6 and C7 3LT Interiors.
Of course, I'm aware that the C8 dash is a totally different design, however still turned off by the issues and GM's lack of effort to rectify them.
I had several friends who had to shell out several thousand dollars to get theirs's fixed. One had too have his dash replaced twice, GM paid for one instance.
However if I was as happy with Black would get the 2LT and GT2 seats. You're essentially getting unique color combo's with a 3LT. Black is essentially Black Dipped. With e GT2 seats you'll get the same amount of real tanned animal hide (on the seating surface only as the bolsters are Mulan, GM's coined name for manmade faux leather.) Oh the wrist rest on the 3LT may also be Napa leather! On the GT1 seats that come with the 2LT the seating surface is Mulan and the GM doesn't say if the Bolsters are Mulan or perhaps Vinyl.
Yep with the 3LT you get a nicely stitched headliner BUT have to tilt your head back to see it! It's your $3000 (assuming you pick GT2 seats!)
PS: Frankly not sure what Mulan is in the C8. In the C7 it was bonded leather, which is Vinyl with ~20% finely ground real leather scrapes used as a filler. Vinyl uses cheap calcium carbonate (Lime) as a filler. However someone buying a C8 3LT part said it was not Vinyl but Polyurethane. I have what is called UltraLeather in my street rod and it's Polyurethane that looks like the finest woman's glove leather. It's more expensive than Vinyl and does not contain any ground up real leather scrapes. It also doesn't have the same shrinkage issues of bonded leather! Don't know for sure as GM never said what is used where for the C7 and doesn't for the C8 (other than seats) what is Mulan and what is Vinyl.

I believe the "leather" in the 1LT/2LTs (other than in portions of the seats) is polyurethane. But I'm pretty sure Mulan leather is still bonded leather.
There is a chart of different suppliers for the C8. The leather is supplied by Bader. Bader "makes" real leather and bonded leather but not full synthetic leather.

Saw that info you had posted previously. But not so sure as a poster showed a 3LT leather part, from the published description, was made from Polyurethane (not cheap polyvinylchloride- Vinyl.) Hard to tell as GM seldom says what part is made from what; only seat material, which for a 3LT GT2 Seat is real animal Hide Napa Leather Seating Surface (and possibly the small mode **** wrist rest) and Mulan Bolsters. They can change Mulan anytime they want, it's there coined name! Materials for the seat manufacturer can come from several sources.
My 3LT dash has a ~foot of "plastic something" next to the windshield. It's NOT leather anything! It's a hard plastic material with a "moon crater" texture. My 3LT 2014 C7 had much less black faux leather like material next to the windshield and it was probably bonded leather. My experience with polyurethane leather is from my Street Rod built ~20 years ago. It was made with a Tradename Ultraleather which is Polyurethane on a Rayon back. It's an expensive and material and much more expensive manufacturing process to make than Vinyl. It's still one of the best fine glove leather like faux lather products today although there are now other manufactures. I was quoted the exact same price for real leather (which would have been ~6 skins) and would have required splitting to get the desired shapes the street rod interior shop owner/artist planned! The Ultralleather website today mentions zero real animal hide material is used. It looks and feels as good as it did 20 years ago!
