Run the VIN with Carfax or Autocheck just to make sure the history is what you think it is. Never hurts to have your dealership service department check the VIN as well; they can give you the full service history from other dealers along with confirming the warranty coverage and in-service date.

I would post on here as a shot in the dark to see if anyone traded it in or sold it. Maybe post the city and the dealership along with pictures. You would be very happy to avoid a transaction if somehow, luckily, a member says "Yes that was mine, from me to you don't buy it."

Call a couple of the bigger volume dealers (w/a Service Tech that knows what they're doing), and pay to get it inspected.

The little guys are your friend in situations like this, especially if you're a previous customer or can convince them you'll become a future customer
I've gotten full printouts in the past from my guy and it contained a lot of great info on a car I was buying for my wife.

The car is extremely low mileage and they are not letting it go any where for an inspection and I can't say I blame them I could easily double the mileage in 2 days
No reputable dealer is letting a C8 out of their sight without a huge deposit or usually not at all.

The Carfax is clean except for a 1 month delay between applying for title and listing for sale. They could have been waiting to have title in hand ?
I month is about right for title in the state its in!

If its low-mileage and sitting at a dealer, I'm sure its just a flipper's car so I wouldn't worry about an inspection as long as the Carfax is clean and has full warranty remaining.

Used vehicles always entail some risk, sports and hi-performance cars more so. Learn ALL you can and take another set of (hopefully) knowledgeable eyes to inspect every inch of it. Get it on a hoist, if at all possible. Drive it as you normally would. Then, and only then decide. All the best!

If you really want to know, call a private investigator.
But there is no reason the dealers can't remove any private info if they wanted to. Money talks.

What year and what extremely low mileage? Are you buying privately or through a dealership? You have a full warranty so what is the problem?

If it's a price u can live when and extremely low mileage like u say then I say go for it. I've heard stories of ppl's transmission needing to be replaced from anywhere between 200 and 18,000 miles so it's really something you can't predict going wrong. It's still under warranty so go for it . Good luck.

See if you can find an inspection service that will come to the vehicle’s location and do a thorough inspection for you. You should have some warranty left so that is a safety net.

I bought a used C8 sight unseen except for pictures and videos. Its arriving Monday and I was notified the check engine light came on when it was started to put on the hauler. Rough idle. Pissed me off a little bit but I'm going to take it out on the highway and run it and if anything fails its under warranty.

I bought mine sight unseen other than photos. It only had 800 miles on it when delivered. I looked it over real good for any type of physical damage and found none. I got it from a Mazda dealer and they priced it much lower than anything I had seen at a GM dealership. I figured it’s under warranty so I should be fine. Still I paid more than the original MSRP but not like what many dealers are marking up. A price that I could live with.

Suggest you buy it quickly… it will not last.
