Default Code Red G.M. Parts

C8 Parts are code red meaning there aren't any. I was at my dealers parts dept. this morning to see about ordering the splashguards. 30-90 day wait, same on about all parts. They never heard of Scrape Armor either. These guys are a new GM authorized manufacturer of grill screens. I would like to have the splash guards but guess I'll have to wait.

An OP recently posted OEM style splash guards he got on eBay for a $120 +/-. Last week or so, should be easy to find this thread. They look exactly like the ones I got that are a GM part @ $160. End of the day, they are all made in China at one of a 100 ubiquitous factories. Only difference is the box they come in.

The Scrape Armor grill guards aren't even available from Scrape Armor yet ("shipping early 2022" - whatever that means)

Welcome to reality, such as it is now. At least you have the car, or so it seems.

Seriously, not surprised that parts are hard to come by right now - seems like everything is in short supply.

Man… where do you dig this stuff up?

I was going to reply… I ordered the Code Red with GM but they told me it is in back order but they took my money.

I guess if @Bird67 post it then it is probably true?

FYI… I had to have my amp replaced and MM got it in less than 30 days… I am so lucky

Better a code red in your c8 than a code brown.

Thanks for reminding me. I need to order more Adult diapers for when I do launch mode.

Am I going to be in trouble?
