This could be a journey that will end in a new transmission…..what does the dealer say? They can “fix it” by just resetting the code and give a lame excuse on what they did….you buy it, the code comes back and the dance begins…flush, solenoids, valve body, new trans. So after being without your “new” car for two months it is finally fixed. It’s really the integrity of the dealer that plays out in this situation.
Or, it could just go away and all is well. If it were me I would pass, many others out there albeit perhaps not the financial deal you’re looking for.

I had them pull the warranty/ service records and they even gave me the build sheets about 5 pages in all. There was an sps ? update to the transmission after the code but no real mileage on the car after to prove anything .

Right, but it's still a tough call. They may have cleared it with a flush or whatever, but the question is does it have enough miles on it after to see if it returns? That's the dice roll.

As I stated in post 10 above it does not have much mileage post update. The P0607 code can be as simple as low voltage like a car in the showroom with the door open all the time. I think I have seen this in my Shelby after storage or a dead battery. But I due appreciate all of your opinions as I have no actual experience with a C8!

Yeah I am with Socal on this - it sounds like your mind is made up. I hope it works out man.
Agreed, it could be nothing, as plenty of folks have experienced this code and had it corrected with no recurrence. If it were the perfect configuration for me at an acceptable price, I'd take the chance, in large part, because I'm close to one of the best Corvette service centers in the US (Criswell).
