Default Dubai c8s

Spotted two C8s so far. We've seen a ton of ultra expensive cars but haven't spotted anything hyper yet.

Lambos everywhere here

. The yellow c8 was at the Dubai maill (fashion road side). We saw a dealer with Koenigsegg. Going to try to see if we can visit, my son is a Koenigsegg nut and it's one of the last cars on his bucket list he's never seen in person.

Do you think by now they have learned how to park correctly?

Most of that area is valet. Probably trying to fit as many cars as they can.

Dime a dozen over there. I used to have an F40 parked in front of my place all the time, IN THE DIRT, half up on the curb.

Billions of dollars being laundered through there... cars are like potato chips, but lots of neglected, poorly maintained cars coming out of there... buy at your own risk...

A: start a Fancy Fashion Boutique in London... B: get elected to the US Senate, or C: get burried a sand dune with a bullet in their head....

Sharps have it 32% prob on each, with 4% vig going to the house

it was amazing to me that the status symbol of their license plates was a greater attention interest than the super cars themselves. They bid for and auction tags. The ones with the fewest number of characters on the plates are the most cherished - and the value (cost of the plate) can easily exceed a million dollars. Crazy. We saw a lambo and it only had 2 digits on the license plate. Was prob a 2 million dollar combo.

Nice looking C8s and can only imagine the variety of super expensive other cars that are on the roads there.

I was just reading up on Dubai corporate and royal wealth yesterday. Almost none is from oil, that $$$ all goes to Abu Dhabi, but it's a case of a rising tide raises all ships and Dubai benefits from Abu dhabi's wealth and success with a lot of that oil $$ being spent on real estate development and business in Dubai.

thats accurate. Dubai’s commerce and income is based primarily off tourism and business. It’s the surrounding emirates which have the natural resource wealth.

Funny - how the G-wagon is relegated to the hoopty jalopy in those pics.

I took 60 or 70 photos and just posted a few choice ones. But in fairness, a g-wagen doesn't belong in the company of the $2m+ cars I posted pics of.

I think we're probably doing ok with money if we own a c8. A lot of people wish they had our kind of money. This is just different level money.

That is an interesting license plate and position. As front plates go, I like this. Its subtle.
