Lambos everywhere here
. The yellow c8 was at the Dubai maill (fashion road side). We saw a dealer with Koenigsegg. Going to try to see if we can visit, my son is a Koenigsegg nut and it's one of the last cars on his bucket list he's never seen in person.
Billions of dollars being laundered through there... cars are like potato chips, but lots of neglected, poorly maintained cars coming out of there... buy at your own risk...
it was amazing to me that the status symbol of their license plates was a greater attention interest than the super cars themselves. They bid for and auction tags. The ones with the fewest number of characters on the plates are the most cherished - and the value (cost of the plate) can easily exceed a million dollars. Crazy. We saw a lambo and it only had 2 digits on the license plate. Was prob a 2 million dollar combo.
I was just reading up on Dubai corporate and royal wealth yesterday. Almost none is from oil, that $$$ all goes to Abu Dhabi, but it's a case of a rising tide raises all ships and Dubai benefits from Abu dhabi's wealth and success with a lot of that oil $$ being spent on real estate development and business in Dubai.

thats accurate. Dubai’s commerce and income is based primarily off tourism and business. It’s the surrounding emirates which have the natural resource wealth.
