Has anyone installed a Mild to Wild NPP exhaust switch on Z51 C8? I have one on my C6 Z06 and love it. I would like to know if it is a good choice for my 2022 C8.
Thanks in advance.
Doesn't work. There is a thread here where many of us gave it a shot and RPI was still selling them knowing they don't work. Do a search and you'll see the history.
It seems that, on this website, a lot of the posters use acronyms. What does NPP stand for. I understand that it is the muffler settings. Is it a GM ordering acronym or what?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, NPP is the option code for the performance exhaust:
NPP Exhaust, performance, 5 hp and torque increase, aggressive exhaust sound varies with driver mode selected, with stainless-steel tips
1 - Included with (Z51) Z51 Performance Package.
Although I have it on my C6 and love it, No. Doesn't work. I just set 'My Mode' to the aggressive note. Turning a **** is as easy as pushing the button.

Even in track mode, the exhaust valves close at speeds of about 35 mph and below in lower gears. That's the only way the car can pass EPA mandated drive by sound level standards.
