Default Connector Removal

Has anyone removed their C8 door panels for one reason or another,and had to disconnect the window and lock connectors?.I have been fiddling with these connectors for and hour and I cannot get them to release..Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks Zymurgy,..the door connectors are similar to the tail light connectors so I'll give it a try..We've got a rainy day here in SW Florida today ,so I thought I'd try to install my Carbon Fiber window bezels and hit this snag..

Here is a pic of the door connectors I'm trying to get apart..They are ridiculous!... The red tab at top is a lock i think, but whether it's pushed in or out seems to make no difference. They will not budge....Maybe there's a special tool needed. Anybody?

When you pull the red locks (to the left in your pics) out you can then press down on the tab that is currently on top of the locks in your pics, they should be able to pull apart while pressing down on the tab.

HTH

Edit, you might have to squeeze on the sides of the connector as well, appears to be some knurling on the sides for gripping while you squeeze and pull?

Thanks CGZ06..I finally got the connectors apart,..after reading your post I tried again and I had to move the connector side to side while pushing down on the lock that's on top of the red tab...Thanks again...
