Default Decal question

Are the "hash marks" on both front fenders ? I should know better but I've never contemplated them before today !

They are, though "asymmetrical" might be cool if you went that root...

I thought about getting "hash marks" on my C7 Grand Sport because I thought the few Grand Sports Zora built in 1963 for racing had them. BUT my plan was NOT to have vinyl decals rather like the flames on my street rod, painted under the clear coat! Turned out those racing Grand Sports did NOT have hash marks so I didn't!

This was my plan:

Like my dark silver flames on silver, 1) would have the hash marks masked on one fender, 2) then spray a pinstripe color on probably one side and top, 3) then spray the pinstripe color, 4) put 1/8-inch-wide masking tape on the edge to be pinstriped, 5) spray the hash mark color, 6) remove all tape, 7) clear coat the whole fender.

The hash marks ARE decals. The are put on by the dealer, not at the factory and they are indeed, on both sides of the car.

Yes they are a decal but not ordinary vinyl. They can be ordered with the car and the Dealer will install them or you can order them through GM parts and install them yourself. I installed mine. As you can tell the carbon flash section is made up from hundreds of little Corvette flag badges. The stripes come in a pair of two cut for each front fender.

Yes, both fenders have the stripes. I like the look of the hash marks on the car.
