This has been discussed ad nauseam on this forum and every car forum since car forums were invented. Spend some time googling so you can read more on it and hear others' experience (don't limit it to only C8s).
Bottom line is the manufacturer can't void a warranty if the repair is unrelated to any modifications. If you put an aftermarket exhaust on, and your seat adjustment control button malfunctions and needs to be replaced, they can't not fix it under warrant as an exhaust would have nothing to do with a seat button.
On the other hand if you added an aftermarket exhaust and your transmission goes, they could argue the exhaust increased HP, which caused increased strain in the transmission and ultimately led to its failure and not replace the transmission under warranty.

I doubt the addition of an aftermarket cat back sysem would void a warranty, but headers could if a failure could be related to the addition of the headers. As mentioned, do a search on warranty issues - this has been discussed a number of times covering multiple generations.

Ditto the above if you replace the cats, I suspect.
And if your aftermarket exhaust lacks adequate heat shielding and damages another nearby part, obviously that's not going to be covered, either. If you put an exhaust with valves (like the NPP) and the actuators for the valves fail, a Chevy dealer will just laugh if you want them replaced under warranty.
The exception to all the above *might* be a Borla system. There have been reports that GM is going to offer the Borla exhaust as an official accessory, installed by Chevy dealers. If that's true, I would expect the warranty will remain intact.
