Default Displaying the Speed Model

I'm thinking of hanging up my speed model on a wall, like a plaque. Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

Buy a magnetic strip from Harbor Freight. Cut it to the size of the model. Screw the strip into the wall. Since the model is magnetic, it should stick well.

I used velcro that had adhesive backing. Also placed a small nail under the bottom edge as a precaution

to help support the weight

I would think this would work.

Be aware that the model is only attached to the base with a magnet, so if you hang it vertically, and accidently bump into it, it will likely crash down onto the floor.

Did you remove any of the rubber feet for the plaque to be flush against the wall?

Did not have to remove rubber feet. Pictures show velcro on the wall, velcro on the plaque & side view of velcro on the plaque.

I think mine is in a closet somewhere on a shelf... don't know exactly. Kind of tacky with out any detail of any kind. Looks like a pile of Jello or pudding, IMO.

When did you buy the car and did you buy it new? Everybody new buyer gets a model - unless you're living in witness protection.

I chatted with Corvette Concierge today and the 2024 models are starting to roll out. She told me if I do not have mine in 4-6 weeks to reach back out and they would escalate one to me. Cool!

I don't know what I'd do in your shoes. Since they now know about it, I may be inclined to wait a while and see what transpires. My '24 was built the week of the 11/5 and mine came today. Good luck !
