Ground and constant power

I purchased the factory engine compartment lights and connectors. I want to hook them up with a remote switch. I have the wires into the interior and can get them close to the fuse box. Does anyone know where I can get a good ground and which fuses are always hot?

I say you’re working too hard my friend. Check Paragon Performance YouTube they have a harness which uses the defroster button.

Thanks I know about that wiring harness but I don't want that option. I want to be able to turn the lights on when the car is off at car shows. I need to connect to a hot always fuse. The problem I have first is finding a ground point.

Why would you want to run the defroster just because you want the engine compartment lights on? Inelegant solution at best.
