Believe it or not, they actually have some support systems that mechanics can climb up on and it helps them lean way over into hard to reach spots. Probably cost you a fortune though.
Yes, my buddy actually got in the trunk during my header install. We opted to put him in the trunk rather than me since he's a little smaller than I am, but still a fairly large guy (I'd guess at least 200 lbs). A step stool made it easy for him to get in & out.
I stand in mine every time after I wash the car to dry the engine area and clean the hatch glass. My weight varies depending on season, 205 in summer, 220 in winter. (the holidays get the best of me)

Wonder what the frunk/trunk designed weight limits are?
I thought I saw something on the trunk that said 200-250 range. I think some of the limits are more about load limits on the car, versus the physical limits on the trunk enclosure. That would probably be more about PSI limits that would create a fracture or puncture.
One problem with getting in the trunk, is not knowing where the support points are, and creating leverage against those, that would then exceed the breaking point of the tub. So, 200 pounds spread out, no problem. 200 pounds on one foot, in the wrong place, could easily be a problem. Stilletto high heels standing in the trunk, a complete no go (especially if you don't know to not put weight on the heels).

Had no idea the bottom of the trunk/frunk was that strong, figured I would fall through if I climbed in there, good to know.
