Can anyone supply the part # for the low profile spoiler that is part of the TVS option package..

This is the low profile one that is bolted on...not the 19432036 taped and glued one.

Thanks.

Red c8 of jax says it is 84818522 in another thread. He has one on order.

I personally like the tape on one for the change in shape in the middle.

Just for information and not wanting opinion on Body Side Molding on C5's - but all the BSM's were attached with the same two sided 3m tape and I have never heard of even 1 that fell off in the more than 20 years that they have been taped on there.

The Rsc carbon fiber spoiler and AMG carbon fiber diffuser

To me the RSC spoiler especially for a convertible matches the lines best

I don’t like the standard Z51 spoiler and high wing looks kind of out-of-place on the C8 in my opinion. Plus I didn’t want to have to reach over the high wing every time I needed to get something out the trunk. I thought the low profile accessory spoiler added the perfect balance to the car. And the fact that it was already painted carbon flash and required no drilling made it a no brainer.

Here’s are pre and post splitter spoiler photo.

where did you get the front end splitter and did a dealer install it or did you install it yourself the car looks good with the splitter.

I’m sure they will. They’ll probably charge you for an hour of labor at whatever their going rate is.

I ordered the splitter for NewGMParts.com. Cost at the time was $141.03 plus shipping. I installed it myself in the driveway. It comes in three pieces that you bolt together. Don’t need to raise the front the car. I just laid a blanket down on the drive and laid on my side. It helps to have a cordless ratchet wrench. There are 20 some torx screws you have to remove and put back in. You want to avoid carpal tunnel after the install

I hear ya. I was 68 (going to be 70 this year) when I installed my splitter. It wasn’t so much a problem getting down on the ground as it was getting back up.

I’ve got the Scrape Armour radiators guards scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. I’m trying to decide if I want to install them myself or have the dealer do it. I’m told the front of the car needs to be lifted in order to install them. That will be an issue for me.

The part number is 84869770. This replaces the old part # 84718127. It’s labeled as “Spoiler Pkg which is confusing since it’s not a spoiler. The price has gone up to $148.34

There are usually a few for sale on the CF. I just recently saw one for $75. Not sure if it's still available.

The only issue with the factory spoiler is that it is either body color - or if you want it black then you must also get the all black side mirrors.
I like the two color side mirrors but want a black flash low spoiler - seems the best solution is to order with no spoiler and add it and the splitter after delivery.

Agree. I did the CF spoiler and the mirrors. I like the red mirrors. Your idea is correct to get the look you want. CF is nice too.

I checked with my local dealer's parts dept and they said they could order the factory low profile spoiler (part # 84818522) but it would not come with the template or the mounting hardware. It also would also have to be painted. I decided to put this project on hold for now.

I have one at my dealer due to a screw up in his ordering my new car.

He somehow ordered it as a Z51 areo delete and by mutual agreement is installing the low wing standard spoiler.

The spoiler has arrived at the dealership and I will go down on Wednesday and see what is in the box and let you know.

See post # 82.
