Ever since last May I’ve been reading all the threads of how long it takes to get a Corvette. Here's my experience at Uftring Chevy/Cad in Peoria IL who gets about one allocation per month and sells at MSRP.

5/6/21 I got on the waiting list. I didn't get a number of how many were ahead of me.
8/17/21 I was #13 on the list.
11/9/21 I was #10.
12/23/21 Eight people ahead of me opted to wait for the 2023 Z06 and I ordered my car with a $5,000 deposit. There was still one order ahead of mine.
2/14/22 GM picked up the order.
3/7/22, per the Corvette Concierge, I'm at 3400 with a TPW of this week. He also said that delivery could be three weeks away if the build goes smoothly. BTW, I have never received an email from Corvette about my order's status.

As you can see, Uftring is selling about one per month and it’s been pretty consistent ever since I got on the list in May 2021.

Be patient, call around and find an MSRP dealer with the shortest list, and then be more patient. The smaller dealers may be a better bet and a shorter wait than the big guys, just sayin'.

Caffeine with Morello Red Dipped interior? Post pics when you get it. Very unique!

I had to pay extra for "unique" lol Seriously, I can't wait to see it myself! To my eye, the Caffeine looks maroon, a combo of red and brown, and the Morello looks burgandy, a combo of red and purple. They should go well together.

I visited the dealer today and we looked up my order. It showed a TPW start and end date of 3/7/22. She said that means it was built yesterday. (I hope the Monday/Friday build bug-a-boo is no longer an issue.)

The cars we get here in Peoria go by rail to Chicago, then by transport to Peoria. Hopefully there won't be any delivery issues.

BEAUTIFUL build!
Can't wait to see the photos!
Thanks for the information.
My order is from a small town dealer in central Missouri where I retired from the Army.
Less than 10 allocations per year, at MSRP.

Wondering if you are from Sedalia? I attended the Ozark Music Festival in 1974, maybe you remember that, with your handle and all.

My car was at 4000 Monday so pics will be coming soon, I hope!

Good luck with your car.

I have been to Sedalia, but not that far back.
I only retired from the Army in 2015, choosing Missouri to raise my two daughters here as opposed to going back to Baltimore Maryland , knowing what their schools are like fist hand.
In '74, I was but 9 years old so music festivals weren't on my to-do list quite yet!

I got my order code 2 weeks ago. Although it's off season here in Maine, I'm really anxious. I love the color in the ops thread. Many gorgeous colors are available but as Mecum auctions keep saying "you can't go wrong with black on black". I'm coming from a black on black c7. Although a pain to keep clean, when she shines she us beautiful!
