Anyone know when a VIN is assigned? The dealer's site says my car's TPW started and ended 3/7/22. She thinks it's built but there's no VIN yet.

I received my VIN# on 10/5/21 and my car was built on 10/14/21.....so 9 days before it was built for me....car was delivered on 10/27/21 to my courtesy delivery dealer in AZ. Might have actually been sooner than 10/5 21 but that's the date I asked Lori for it and she provided it to me.

VIN is usually available when it reaches 3400

Thanks for the reply's.
I guess the bigger question is Do I need it before I buy the car?
It would be nice to shop for insurance before the sale so maybe I'd want the vin for that? Anyone have experience with that?
Any other reason an early vin would be beneficial?

3400! Got mine about 10-12 days after I reached 3000.
