I ordered some, got excited, then sent 2 emails requesting to cancel the order with no response...shocking! They are $200 plus $35 shipping....I think if they won't cancel is I will make a mold with these and sell them for half the price, materials are not that expensive. I have a place in town that makes injection molds, gonna at least look into it. $99 plus shipping (not $35). I think they would sell well at $120 mark with shipping.

It may be okay, but it's a royal pain in the *** to keep clean.
Not only does the soapy car wash water not matter when it gets in... it actually helps to keep the engine bay looking good. I've used a low power electric pressure washer (click here) to finish off cleaning the 2020 C8 car engine bay without any issues.
Always a solution looking for a problem to solve. This is just another one of those. My guess? GM consider that the engine might get wet when washing the car. And in the rain. Yes, they drove their cars in the rain. Go figure?
