I'd be interested to hear if anyone has received an update after Sept '23?

GM N23-2418150 failed on my C8 (first and only failure). My last successful update was GM N23-2407890 on 09/25/2023

My car used to nag me for updates. I never did them. It has not nagged me for at least 6 months.

I missed that GM had permanently suspended OTA's. I did them all (4) without issue. But felt the same anxiety when I started each one. And elation, when I revisited the garage to find the OTA process had come and gone.

1. There are 2 processes that happen with OTA a) the files are downloaded with the car operating ie driving around. There is no info or notic that the download is happening. Downloads can be interrupted (you stop the car) but it doesn't matter as the download will complete at some time.
2. Once the download has been completed there are certain conditions that must be met for the upgrade (Install) to happen including checking the batter state so Charge (SOC) based on ambient temp etc.
3. For the upgrade to happen the car must be parked so don't worry about driving. If the upgrade started and you start the car. the upgrade is backed out.
4. Most upgrades take about 15 minutes. My C8 takes about 5 minutes. But you can just park, accept the upgrade and leave the car.
5. You should not need a tender unless your battery is failing.

GDB069's experience with OTA updates mimics mine. For my '22 Z51 HTC I have received notification of 4 or 5 updates. Followed the simple instructions while home or away and the update took about 5 minutes. No issues and I am happy and confident with the process.

That last update (GM N23-2418150) late Sept of '23 was an issue for many which caused GM to stop / pause future OTA updates ....Mine did go through and was the last of the 4 updates I did receive....
