When I am recording during track days using the PDR, a great deal of static comes over the audio playback function after 5 or 10 minutes. Sometimes it loses all audio. Video works fine. Anyone experiencing this problem & suggestion how to fix?

Have not had the problem. If I did, I would try putting the SD card in my lap top and playing back there, to see if the issue is with recording on the card, or with the audio system playback in the car. If on the card, then I would try a different card to see if the issue is with the card. After that, trip to the dealer I guess.
Thats, the only time I hear the static is playback on the computer.
OK that's a clue. So, when you play it back in the car through the car audio system, you do not hear the static then?
By the way, I rarely use the 14 speaker audio system in the car to listen to music. But I have used it to playback the PDI recordings. And I must say, its really cool the way it reproduces all the pleasant mechanical noise and exhaust rumblings. I can hear, and feel the car during the playback.
