Or you be smart and buy a year or two old car from a guy that got raped on MSRP+markup and get it for below MSRP with still a factory warranty.
I'll NEVER understand people paying more than MSRP for something and dealers marking cars up "because they can". It's the dumb people paying those prices that have dealers continue to do it.
Don't give up OP. Car prices will drop...just like gas, houses, wood, and damn near everything else.

Yeah but that hasn't been happening. The car has already been out for 2 years. 2020 models are selling over MSRP!
5 to 10 million in assets? hahahahahahahaha 1 million in cash on hand?
Will be interesting to see if the OP ever posts again.
If you read his OP word for word, you can tell that most of his money has already gone into more cars and mods than you can keep up with. Personal finance is 90% behavior. Knowing and keeping your financials working toward that goal of a new C8. None of which seems to be happening....
Well don’t feel so bad, there’s an active thread going on right now about what income you need to have to afford a C8, the consensus is a million + in free cash, 5 to 10 million in assets. I only did 6 years in the Marines but I know us military folk can’t touch that.
that’s friggin crazy ridiculous , who seriously made a dip **** statement like that…..lol
I’ve had 7 Vettes 2-ZR’s 3-ZO6’s, 2 GEN 3 Vipers and I’m a electrician…….lol

LMAO! I'm a retired Navy CPO. I have owned 7 Corvettes over 31 years and have amassed more than 979,000 miles in Corvettes. I also own a 34-year-old Ferrari. My Chevy dealer of the last 26 years called today offering me a chance to order a 2023. They sell at MSRP. I'm ordering the car tomorrow morning. I thought I'd be out of Vettes for good as of last October, but nope.... will have a C8 in the garage to keep a Porsche Macan S company... the Ferrari will find a new home within the next three, four weeks....

That's hog wash. I'm not close to that and I had no problem establishing my budget and following my plan. And I got a loaded HTC Z51
Capster78, Welcome to the forum & thank you for your service!.....unfortunately many dealers are trying to gouge people buying the C8's. The only thing that I would suggest is ordering from one the dealers mentioned in this thread that charge msrp
Thank you for your Service, and hate to see you not living your dream, but others say it also PI isn't a place for Corvette, and if you had one, have found places to repair it, they do break, and even here members in the USA will tell nightmare stories.
To further breathe some fire into this thread. I also blame many of you who paid the mark up, or flipped your car for a profit. This 17 year military member thanks you for putting an otherwise affordable car out of reach for us military peasants.
